At the first month of 2026 draws to a close, an exciting new exhibition is set to open. BREAKING GROUND: Women Artists in the Whitehorse Art Collection, focuses on women artists whose works are represented in the Whitehorse Art Collection.

“This exhibition celebrates the work of innovative women artists, past and present, who have made significant, yet often under-recognised contributions to Australia’s cultural life.”

Forming part of the exhibition is my painting Masked Australian Painted Lady II, 2024 (pictured top). Scroll down for further information.

I do hope you can join us next Saturday at the exhibition launch.

Acquisition by Whitehorse Art Collection

As the year winds down, I’m delighted to share the news that my painting Masked Australian Painted Lady ll has been acquired for the Whitehorse Art Collection.

The collection was initiated in 1927 by the former City of Box Hill with artworks by Frederick McCubbin, Tom Roberts and Arthur Streeton, all members of the renowned Box Hill Artists’ Camp

Currently the notable collection of the City of Whitehorse comprises almost 1,700 historic and contemporary artworks. It’s an honour to have my painting counted among them.

Masked Australian Painted Lady ll is part of WAYS OF BEING, my solo exhibition at Stephen McLaughlan Gallery, running to December 24.
