There was a humongous turnout at yesterday evening’s Climate Action Rally in Melbourne, despite the inclement weather. Similarly packed protests took place in other Australian capital cities. From other posts that I’ve seen on social media, many of our friends were at the Melbourne rally, but there’s no way we could have spotted them - with one notable exception. Shane Jones and I still can’t believe we managed to bump into our friend Vicki Fowler in that gigantic crowd and that we got to march together. I understand another rally is scheduled for January 18. Bring it on.
