Closing today: The Printmakers’ Garden of Imagination

Yesterday morning Shane Jones and I called into Newstead Arts Hub, ostensibly to drop in some of my work, but also to take one last look at The Printmakers’ Garden of Imagination on its penultimate day. It was lovely to soak up the sun and chat with fellow Goldfields Printmakers and exhibiting artists, Anne Langdon and Janette Wotherspoon, who were sitting the gallery. That football match everyone was going on about seemed another world away.

Today is your last chance to catch the show before closing time at 4 pmAlternatively, if you grab a very fast plane, you might just catch it at IMPACT 12, the International Printmaking Symposium in Bristol, UK.

The following installation views were snapped during yesterday’s visit to Newstead.

I’m going to miss this show, which surely must be one of the Goldfields Printmakers’ most successful ever.
